My fiancee and I are fairly new to the game and want to play more golf, but greens fees are killing us. Paying 25 a piece everytime to go out when we stink just doesn’t make the game fun. Can anyone recommend a cheaper course that is in fair condition? Thanks in advance!!!!!

I caddied today in a 4-day member guest at a country club. The members were trying to feed me that you can only take 2 club lengths from the point of entry. I could’ve sworn you can go as far back as you want from the line it went in as long as you’re not going closer to the hole.

mattysensei asked: I’d like to get a package for my friend which includes the hotel for 1 night 2 days and unlimited rounds of golf. Maybe in the South Carolina or similar areas between late Sept.- early November
Including Airfare, hotel and green fees. I’ve done it for under 500 in the mid 90’s
Any ideas? Please include URLs
Many thanks–Matty

I have been tasked to put together a charity event golf tournament benefiting the Special Olympics. The thing is I have never done anything of this magnatude before. What is involved? How do you get things donated. I’ve been to numerous ones and paid the $500 registration fees but always took it for granted and never really paid much attention to the details. I figured, I paid, Things just happen. Now the shoes on the other foot. I am proud and honored to be putting togather this tourney for such a wonderful cause with ALL proceeds going to the special olympics, I just need some help.
